Cast of Characters originated as summer camp program in Columbus, Montana by Constance and Robert Smith. Sean was a participant and eventually a leader in this fun summer program.

 In the summer of 2000, Sean and Andi (then college friends) created their own version of the summer camp and offered programs that year in Washington, Idaho and Montana. Cast of Characters was born!

Sean and Andi ran camps mostly in Spokane, WA for the next ten years. They took a break after moving to Boise and having their second daughter. CAST was reborn in Idaho in the summer of 2024. A version of CAST still takes place every summer in Spokane as well.

Many friends and directors have helped shape this great program over the years. We are passionable about creating a fun, energetic space where kids can thrive, growing in confidence and building community with one another. Thanks for supporting CAST of Characters!
