The linked video goes MORE in depth on building an equation. (I just give it to you.) But doesn't touch on finding the maximum height. It is just the vertex of the parabola. You use x=-b/(2a) to find WHEN it reaches the maximum height and then plug that into the equation to get WHAT the maximum height is.
