Sightseeing 🗺️
Superb 14th century town with castle completely restored and with a guided service to view the whole castle. Set in amazing parkland. Kilkenny itself has many super restaurants and shops.
Ancient site - old monastery with guided tours hourly. You have an amazing view from the hill outside the Rock and down nearby you can go for a walk to another ruin which costs nothing and is also interesting. Just walk down the ramp and through small gate down a pathway grass on one side and a low wall on the other.
