Math with Mrs. Casillas

About Me: 

I grew up in Jesup, IA and graduated from Jesup High School in 2004.  I went to UNI to complete my BA in Mathematics with Secondary Education.  I graduated from UNI in 2008 and was married to my husband, Nick, in 2009.  I then attended the University of Iowa for one year towards my masters in Statistics.  I taught  at East High from 2010 - 2017 and began teaching at Jesup High School in the fall of 2017.   In December 2011, we were blessed with twin boys, Alexi and Adrian.  In August 2017, our daughter Charlotte was born.  In the spring of 2021, I completed my masters in Mathematics from UNI.   Our 4th child, Elora, was born in December of 2022.  In my free time, I love to water ski, compete in triathlons and spend time with my family.
