4 years ago GW's Center for the Advanced Study of Human Paleobiology and DIS members founded and organized the First Annual GW STEM Symposium, featuring networking opportunities, interactive workshops, and panel discussions to help prepare GW students for STEM careers.
DIS members hosted lab visits for students from BePolished, a community-based organization empowering middle and high school girls raised in single-parent households in the DC area.
