Blogging is not a new phenomenon. In fact, I would say it's been around for at least 20 years. In its original form, the purpose of blogging was to simply share thoughts and opinions on a particular topic, without any expectation of getting paid for it.
As the industry expanded, bloggers had to expand their goals, and so began the new era of blogging - the era that demands bloggers to deliver content in a more professional and professional manner in order to get noticed.
With increased demand came increased demand for money and so, the new era of blogging was born. Today, blogging is a thriving industry with many bloggers making a good amount of money through it. However, on the flip side, bloggers are divided into two categories:
The first is the person who created a blog solely for the purpose of writing and has no plans to make money from it. They adore writing and want to share what they've learned. DIY Bloggers, or Do-It-Yourself Bloggers, are the folks who do this.
The second category is the person who began a blog with the intention of profiting from it. Many people create a blog because they want to make money online, and this is the purpose behind it. So, what is blogging, and why shouldn't everybody who wants to make money from it create one?
