Privacy Policy
This privacy policy is applicable to the CashLens app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by Monitrix (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is provided "AS IS".
1. What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information:
The Application acquires the information you supply when you register. Authentication is handled via Google OAuth (Firebase Auth). We collect:
Your name and profile picture that you input via profile page(for personalization).
Your email address (to manage your account and sync data).
Financial transaction data you manually enter or that is processed from SMS.
SMS Data (Sensitive opt-in Permission):
CashLens uses the READ_SMS permission to automatically detect and add financial transactions if opted in.
Privacy Guarantee: All SMS processing happens locally on your device.
No Data Transfer: Your raw SMS messages are never uploaded to our servers, shared with third parties, or transmitted outside your device. Only the resulting transaction (Amount, Category, Date) is synced to your private Firebase database if backup is enabled.
2. Third-Party Services
The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies. These services aid in authentication, analytics, and subscription management:

3. Data Sync and Storage
Local Storage: We use Hive for fast, local data access on your device.
Cloud Backup & Multi-Device Sync: Your financial data and profile settings are synced to Firebase Realtime Database to allow you to access your data across multiple devices. This data is linked to your Google Account.
4. Data Deletion and Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain your data for as long as you use the Application.
In-App Deletion: You can use the "Clear All Data" button within the App settings to instantly delete all local and cloud-synced transaction records.
Account Deletion Request: Users can request full account and data deletion by emailing us at simply.chess.2.009@gmail.com. We will remove all associated data from our Firebase servers within 14 days of the request.
5. Encryption in Transit
All data transmitted between the Application and third-party services (Firebase/RevenueCat) is encrypted in transit using modern HTTPS/TLS protocols.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.
7. Security
We provide electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process. While we endeavor to provide reasonable security, please be aware that no security system can prevent all potential breaches.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page. Continued use of the Application is deemed approval of all changes.

1. Introduction
Welcome to CashLens (“Application”). This Application is owned and operated by Monitrix (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using CashLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.
2. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account via Google OAuth or using any features of CashLens, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this binding agreement. Your continued use of the app constitutes your ongoing acceptance of any modifications to these terms.
3. Ownership and Intellectual Property
The Application, including its code, design, logos, charts, and original content, is the exclusive property of Monitrix. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial financial tracking. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application.
4. User Content and Personalization
You may personalize your experience using a nickname and profile picture. You retain ownership of the financial data you enter or sync. However, by using our Firebase Data Backup and Multi-Device Sync features, you grant us the right to store and process this data solely to provide the Application's services to you.
5. SMS Data and Automated Features
CashLens utilizes the READ_SMS permission to provide automated transaction tracking. You acknowledge that:

You are responsible for ensuring that the Application has the necessary permissions to function.
We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in SMS detection; users should manually verify all automated entries.
6. Subscriptions and Payments (RevenueCat)
CashLens offers Monthly and Yearly subscriptions. All payments are processed via the Google Play Store and managed by RevenueCat.
Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Refunds: Refund requests must be handled directly through the Google Play Store. Monitrix does not process direct refunds for subscription fees.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
CashLens is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Monitrix makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy of financial calculations, data backup reliability, or the constant availability of the service. We do not guarantee that the Application will be error-free or that your data will never be lost due to technical failure.
8. Financial Disclaimer (Important)
Monitrix is not a financial advisor. CashLens is a tool for information and organization purposes only. The charts and data provided do not constitute financial, investment, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and the consequences thereof.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monitrix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or money, arising out of your use or inability to use the Application, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Third-Party Sites and Services
The Application integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google), RevenueCat, and Google Analytics. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your interactions with these services are governed by their respective terms.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service Provider (Monitrix) operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
12. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
