1. Overview

CashFlow operates on an offline-first architecture:

- All financial logs (income, expenses, budgets, savings goals, subscriptions, and debts) are stored directly on your personal device.

- We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your financial records with advertisers or third parties.

- Advertising (Google AdMob) and diagnostics (Google Firebase) operate under official Google Developer policies.

2. Information We Collect

A. Personal Information

- Name: Optional. Used only for local display and greetings.

- Email Address: Collected if you sign in with Google or Firebase. Used for account identification, optional cloud backup, and support.

- User ID: A unique identifier generated by Firebase to link your optional cloud backup to your account.

B. Financial Information

- Salary, income, expenses, budgets, savings goals, and debts entered by you.

- All financial entries are stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud backup, data is sent encrypted to your personal Firebase database or Google Drive.

- We do not collect, view, or sell your financial data to any third party.

C. Device and Advertising Information

- Google Advertising ID (AD_ID): Processed by Google AdMob to show ads, control ad frequency, and prevent fraud.

- Device Details: Device model, operating system version, and approximate location (country or city derived from IP address) processed by Google AdMob and Firebase.

D. Performance and Diagnostics

- Crash logs and performance diagnostics collected via Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs and improve app stability.

E. Photos and Attachments

- Receipt photos: Processed only locally on your phone if you choose to attach receipt pictures. We do not access or collect your photo library.

3. Device Permissions Used

- Advertising ID (AD_ID): Required by Google AdMob for ad delivery and fraud prevention.

- Biometrics (Fingerprint / Face Unlock): Optional. Used strictly for the App Lock feature. Biometric data stays inside your phone hardware and is never accessed by CashFlow.

- Notifications: Optional. Used to send scheduled daily reminders to log expenses. Generated locally on your device.

- Internet Access: Required to check live currency exchange rates, load ads, and sync backups.

- Storage: Used to export and import CSV backup files and attach receipt photos.

4. Third-Party Services

CashFlow uses the following third-party services:

A. Google AdMob

- Displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads.

- AdMob may collect your Advertising ID and device information.

- You can turn off personalized ads on your Android phone anytime:

  Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID (or Opt out of Ads Personalization).

B. Google Firebase

- Used for Google Sign-In authentication, cloud backup sync, and crash reporting.

C. Google Drive API

- Optional backup feature to your private Google Drive account.

- The app only requests access to the application data folder (drive.appdata).

- CashFlow can only read and write its own backup files and cannot see or touch any other files in your Google Drive.

5. Data Security

- All internet communications (login, backup sync, exchange rates, and ads) use secure TLS/HTTPS encryption.

- Financial data on your device is protected inside the secure Android application sandbox.

- Firebase cloud backups are protected by security rules accessible only with your account login.

6. How to Delete Your Data

--------------------------------------------------

You can delete your data at any time:

Method 1: In the App

- Open CashFlow, go to Settings > Data & Storage > Clear All App Data. This instantly wipes all records, budgets, and settings from your device.

Method 2: Google Drive Backups

- Open Google Drive (drive.google.com) > Settings > Manage Apps > CashFlow > Options > Delete hidden app data.

Method 3: Full Account Deletion

- Email aslabstech@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". All cloud records, logins, and associated IDs will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

CashFlow is designed for adults and young adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
