Cash Diary is a fully offline app. No internet, No account, No data collection.

1. Overview

Cash Diary is a personal cash management application designed to work completely offline. The App does not require internet access, does not create user accounts, and does not collect or transmit any personal information. All data entered in the App is stored only on your device and is accessible only to you.

2. Information We Collect

Cash Diary does not collect, request, transmit, or share any personal, sensitive, or identifiable user information. The App only stores the following data locally on your device:

- Cash amounts entered by you

- Transaction type (Add or Remove)

- Date and time of each transaction

- Voice notes recorded by you

This data is never uploaded, synced, or shared with any server, cloud service, or third party.

3. How the App Works

Cash Diary allows you to manage your daily cash transactions in a simple and secure way:

- Add or remove cash amounts from your balance

- View a running total balance at all times

- Record voice notes for each transaction

- Play back or delete recorded voice notes

- Delete individual transaction entries

- Clear all stored data at any time using "Clear All Data"

The App works entirely offline and does not depend on any external services or APIs.

4. Permissions Used

Cash Diary requests only one permission from your device:

Permission: Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO)

When Asked: Only when you tap "Record Voice"

Purpose: Recording voice notes for your transactions. No audio is recorded automatically or in the background.

If microphone permission is denied, user can't SAVE entry.

5. Use of Permissions

The microphone permission is used strictly for recording voice notes when you manually tap the "Record Voice" button. Cash Diary does not use any permissions for:

- Tracking or monitoring your activity

- Profiling or analysing user behaviour

- Advertising or marketing

- Any background process or automatic recording

6. Data Storage

- Transaction data is stored using local device storage (Shared Preferences)

- Voice recordings are saved in the App's private documents directory on your device

- No external storage, cloud databases, or online services are used

All stored data remains on your device and is accessible only to you.

7. Data Sharing

Cash Diary does not share any data with any party. The App contains:

- No advertisements or ad networks

- No analytics or tracking tools

- No third-party SDKs that collect data

- No cloud sync or upload features

8. User Control & Data Deletion

You have full control over all data stored by Cash Diary:

- Delete entries individually — tap the delete icon on any transaction

- Clear all data — use "Clear All Data" from the menu to remove every entry and its associated voice note

- Uninstall — removing the App permanently deletes all stored data from your device

9. Data Security

Because Cash Diary operates entirely offline and never transmits data over the internet, exposure to external security threats is minimal. Voice recordings and transaction data are stored in the App's private directory, which is not accessible to other apps on your device. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

10. Children's Privacy

Cash Diary does not knowingly collect any data from children. Since no personal information is collected at all, the App complies with children's privacy regulations by default.

11. Third-Party Services

Cash Diary does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that collect, store, or transmit user data.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App listing or documentation. Your continued use of the App after any update indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
