This Privacy Policy explains how Business Cashbook Tracker – Business Cashbook Tracker (“Business Cashbook Tracker,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.
Business Cashbook Tracker is a business cashbook and financial record-keeping application. The current version is designed primarily to store your business and financial records locally on your Android device. We do not operate or use any developer-controlled server to receive or store your cashbook records. The App also does not currently use Firebase, advertising SDKs, or analytics SDKs.
By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The App allows you to enter, create, or select the following types of information:
Company or business name
Tax identification number
Phone number
Email address
Business address
Company logo or profile image selected by you
Account names and account types
Masked or partial account numbers
Account balances
Income, expense, and transfer amounts
Transaction dates and times
Transaction categories and payment or source types
Source and destination accounts
Recipient names
Transaction notes
Budget names, limits, dates, spending totals, notes, and alert settings
Locally generated budget and balance notifications
Receipt images that you voluntarily select through Android’s system photo picker
Company logo or profile image that you voluntarily select
PDF reports generated and exported at your request
The App accesses only the image or file you choose through the relevant Android system picker. It does not continuously scan your photo library.
App language, theme, accent color, and notification preferences
Whether PIN or biometric protection is enabled
A hashed form of your four-digit App PIN
Local premium entitlement status
Business Cashbook Tracker does not receive or store your fingerprint, face scan, or other biometric template. Biometric verification is performed by Android’s secure system interface, and the App receives only the success or failure result.
If you buy or restore the App’s one-time premium product, Google Play Billing processes the transaction. The App may receive limited purchase information from Google Play, such as the product identifier, purchase status, purchase token, and acknowledgement status, to activate or restore premium access.
We do not receive or store your full payment-card number, bank credentials, or Google Account password.
If you choose to contact us by email, we will receive your email address and any information, files, or screenshots you voluntarily include in your message.
In the current version of the App, we do not operate a developer-controlled backend that collects your:
Cashbook or transaction records
Company profile information
Receipt images
Precise or approximate location
Contacts
Call logs or SMS messages
Microphone recordings
Advertising identifiers
App activity for advertising or analytics
The App does not sell your personal or financial information and does not display third-party advertisements.
Information entered into the App is used to:
Create and manage accounts, income, expenses, transfers, and balances
Display dashboards, summaries, transaction histories, and filters
Create and monitor budgets
Attach and display receipt images
Generate PDF transaction or budget reports at your request
Save your business profile and App preferences
Provide PIN or biometric access protection
Display local notifications and warnings
Activate or restore premium features through Google Play
Respond to support requests that you choose to send
We do not use your local financial records for advertising, profiling, or data brokerage.
Your business profile, preferences, accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, notifications, PIN hash, and copied receipt images are stored in the App’s private storage on your Android device.
The App currently permits Android backup. Depending on your device, Android version, Google Account, and backup settings, Android may automatically back up eligible App data—including the local database, preferences, and internal files—to your private Google backup storage or transfer it to a new device. Such backup and device-transfer processing is controlled by Android and Google, not by our own server.
You can review or change device backup settings through your Android or Google Account settings. Google’s handling of backup and other platform data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
The App may use the following Android permissions or system features:
Internet: Used to connect with Google Play Billing for loading, purchasing, acknowledging, and restoring premium access.
Biometric or fingerprint authentication: Used only when you choose to enable biometric App protection. Biometric data remains under Android’s control.
System photo or document picker: Used when you voluntarily choose a company logo, receipt image, or PDF save location. The App receives access only to the item or location you select.
The current App version does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, SMS messages, or call logs.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information.
Information may be handled or disclosed only in the following circumstances:
Google Play: Purchase-related information is processed through Google Play Billing when you buy or restore premium access.
Android or Google backup services: Eligible local App data may be backed up or transferred if device backup is enabled.
User-directed export or sharing: A PDF report, receipt, logo, or support email may leave the App when you choose a storage provider, email app, or other destination. The selected third party’s privacy practices then apply.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information actually in our possession if required by applicable law, a valid legal process, or a lawful government request.
Protection and safety: We may use or disclose information actually in our possession when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce rights, or maintain security.
Because your cashbook records are not sent to our server in the current version, we ordinarily do not possess or have access to those records.
Local App data remains on your device until you edit or delete it, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. Logging out of Business Cashbook Tracker does not delete your business data.
You can:
Edit or delete supported transactions, budgets, categories, receipt attachments, and profile information within the App
Clear all local App data through Android Settings
Uninstall the App to remove its local data from the device
Review or delete applicable Android or Google backup data through your device or Google Account controls
Data previously included in an Android backup may remain in the backup system according to Google’s retention and deletion practices and may be restored when the App is reinstalled.
PDF reports exported outside the App and files shared through other apps are not automatically deleted when you uninstall Business Cashbook Tracker. You must delete those copies from the location or service where you saved them.
Support emails and related correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer your request, prevent abuse, keep appropriate business records, or comply with legal obligations.
Google Play retains and manages purchase records under Google’s own policies and legal obligations.
We use Android app-private storage for local records. The App stores your PIN as a hash rather than as readable plain text, and biometric authentication is handled by Android’s biometric system.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device, keeping your device lock secure, safeguarding exported reports, and maintaining any backups you need. No storage or security method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against device compromise, malware, operating-system vulnerabilities, physical access, data loss, or actions taken by third-party services.
You may choose not to provide optional information such as a phone number, email address, business address, company logo, receipt image, transaction note, PIN, or biometric protection. Some related features may not work without the information needed for that feature.
You can disable App notifications, biometric protection, or PIN protection from the App’s settings where available. You can also manage Android backup and Google privacy controls through your device and Google Account.
Because the current version stores cashbook data locally and does not send it to our server, we cannot remotely view, retrieve, correct, export, or delete that local data for you. You can manage it on your device as described above.
For personal information contained in a support email that we actually possess, you may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law and legitimate record-retention requirements.
Business Cashbook Tracker is a business and financial record-keeping application and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-controlled server. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through a support request, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Third-party services used or made available through the App may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. These may include:
Your device manufacturer’s Android services
Any email, storage, backup, or file-sharing service you deliberately choose
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those services.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features, data practices, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, its store listing, or the website where this policy is published.
