Cash App Card Activation: How to Request a Cash Card?

A cash card is a Visa debit card that enables you to send money directly from the balance of your Cash app. You can use your cash card to order any service and goods from online shops and from any offline store that accepts Visa. The cash card is free and can be customized as per your requirement and choice. This cash app is associated with balance. You can change the design of your cash card with a unique color, change the signature, and add email to your liking and differentiate the look of your card from others. Launch the Cash app on your Android or iPhone device and tap on the Cash Card icon which is at the bottom of the screen and the second one from the left icon. Now tap on the "Order" button which is a green button with a red rectangle line. Then you need to choose the color of your cash card. Here only two colors black and white are ready for your cash card.

And the next page, you need to decide whether you like to print your unique $CashTag in front of your cash card. Select toggle with Yes or No. If your toggle color is green and your $CashTag will not appear on the front of the card when it is white, then you will appear on the front of the $CashTag card.

You also have the option to insert your signature or a drawing on your cash card as per your choice. You can draw in the box as you wish with your finger or add an icon or letter using the smiley face icon available at the bottom of the screen. On the next page, you have to provide your mailing address where you want to get your cash card.

Now you have to confirm your first and last name which will be printed on your cash card on the next page and click on "Next", Please provide your age details. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old to apply for a cash card. Then provide the last four digits of your social security number and click "Next". A pop-up screen will appear confirming that you have successfully requested your cash card. On this page, you will be sent to a new page and here you can add money to your cash card. You can add your required amount to your cash card.

Please note that once you have ordered your cash card to arrive, you need to wait for 10 business days. You can only apply for a cash card if you have completed at least 18 years of age. Activate your new cash app card: You can easily apply for Cash App Card from your Cash App account. You must activate after receiving the cash card to initiate the transaction. There are two ways by which you can activate your new Cash App Card, the first is to activate the Cash App Card using the QR Code and the second is to activate the Cash App Card without the QR Code.

Activate Cash App Card using QR Code: You will receive an activation QR code with your new Cash App card. You need this QR code to activate your card by following simple steps.

Launch the Cash app on your Android or iPhone device and tap on the Cash Card icon which is located at the bottom of the Cash App home screen and second from the left icon.

Click "Activate Cash Card" to start the process.

The Cash app will ask for your permission to allow your phone's camera to scan the QR code available on your Cash app card. Hold your phone up and align your camera with the QR code until it successfully captures the OR information. Once the QR Code is successfully captured your Cash App Card will be activated and ready for use.

Activate Cash App Card without QR Code: If you have not been able to get your QR code or lost then your Cash App Card can also be activated without a QR Code. To complete the process quickly, you need to follow the simple steps given below:

Launch the Cash app on your Android or iPhone device and tap on the Cash Card icon which is at the bottom of the screen and the second one from the left icon.

Click "Activate Cash Card" to start the process.

Now find and select the "Help" tab at the bottom of the screen.

Instead of using your mobile phone's camera, click the "Missing or Code" button and select "Use CVV" from the available list.

Now carefully enter the CVV code with the expiry date of your cash card. After providing this information correctly, your new cash card will be activated and ready for use.
