I've lived in Cottage Grove for 8 years, married for 9, and am a proud father of two children about to enroll in the MGSD in 2026. As a family, we spend lots of time at Cottage Grove's wonderful parks, enjoying the library activities, and playing sports through the Parks & Rec Smart-Start programs. I work in IT as a hardware engineer, and I love reading and playing both video and board games. I'm a lifelong Badger and Packer fan, and I also love going to music festivals and concerts.
I grew up in a household that was always civically engaged. My mom was a social worker and my dad was a public defender, and I still remember the first time they took me to vote with them at my elementary school. Their love and dedication to their neighbors and community helped inspire me throughout my life. I hope to live up to their example in even some small way.
