What this extension does

Case Recommendation List Tool scans your Sally Beauty My Cart page and builds a simple text list of product names and quantities. It filters out suggested items and raw SKUs, so you get a clean list that you can paste directly into client emails, case notes, or education materials.

How to use it

1. Go to sallybeauty.com and add products to your cart.

2. Open your My Cart page.

3. Click the Case Recommendation List Tool icon in your browser toolbar.

4. Click Generate Shopping List in the popup.

5. Click Copy to Clipboard and paste the list wherever you need it.

What gets scanned

• Product names in your Sally Beauty cart.

• Product quantities (e.g., “2 × Color Defense Shampoo”).

• Suggested / recommended items are ignored where possible.

• Raw SKU-only entries like SBS-405180 are filtered out.

Permissions explained

• tabs – used only to find the active tab and ensure the script runs on hnnthe correct cart page.

•   scripting – used to run the cart-scanning function directly inside the current page when you click the button.

• host_permissions: *://*.sallybeauty.com/* – allows the extension to read product names and quantities on your Sally Beauty cart page.

Troubleshooting

• “No products found on this page” – Make sure you’re on the My Cart page with at least one item in your cart.

• “Couldn’t read the cart” – Try reloading the cart page and then clicking the extension again.

• If quantities look wrong, double-check the quantity fields in your cart and click Generate again.
