Location

Talks and coffee will be in the Earth Sciences Building (ESB) the on the UBC main campus. This building is partially unlocked—try different doors!

All talks will be held in room 2012 of the ESB. The entrance to this room is on the ground floor, just around a corner from the main atrium (the atrium has a fossil plesiosaur hanging in it—this is hard to miss).

Room 2012 does have its own set of stairs. To avoid these, take the elevator near the entrance to room 2012 to floor 2R. The other elevator in the building cannot be used to access room 2012.

Coffee is adjacent to room 4133 of the Earth Sciences Building. This is on floor 4, in the PIMS suite of offices. To get here, use the elevator near the entrance to room 2012 to go to floor 4: PIMS is right in front of the exit. The PIMS suite is locked on weekends, but someone should be on hand to let you in at coffee times.
