We encourage all hams to join the American Radio Relay League or ARRL. The ARRL provides many services to hams including defending the radio frequencies allocated to amateurs.
The ARRL offers numerous books and resources for hams from beginner to experienced.

The Western Washington Amateur Repeater Association (WWARA) offers very current repeater information for Western Washington. They are the agency reponsible for repeater coordination in Western Washington.
