Facilities

At Casa Vista Bonita we offer accommodation in a Portuguese village overlooking the central Algarve. We live on one of the first hills looking out for miles over the coastal plains and the orange groves. You can enjoy breakfast with stunning views in the morning sun either on our shaded porch or the open patio outside.

We offer a calm and quiet environment perfect for the days you want to wind down and relax without too much stress. The pool area is always open to bathe either in the pool or jacuzzi & there are sunloungers around the poolside to enjoy life in the sun with a good book.

To get an even better view over the plains and nearby valleys, there is a short walk past the olive trees, above the guesthouse to the top of the hill. From the bench placed at the summit we would recommend to enjoy a slice or two of local bread, cheese and a bottle of cold wine – you will know in moments that life is good. There are also many idealic walks in the local surroundings.

You can play boules in our own orange grove, taking a break to picking and eating oranges and clementines when in season.

A guest kitchen with a fridge, for each room, is available to you, and also the communal BBQ. 

In the evening you can sit on our porch or patio, enjoy a drink at the bar and perhaps play some darts. Or why not end the day in the illuminated pool, surrounded by stars in the night sky.

A big screen TV area can be found on the loft above the bar delivering television from around Europe, alongside a guest library, where you are welcome to exchange any books you have finished for those you have not read.

If one day you want to use the Algarve's local transport, the nearest bus stop is 600 yards. 

We have fibre-connection to the internet and provide free Wi-Fi.

We also provide free parking on the premises.

Guestrooms

We have six guest rooms for rent. Three find themselves on the sunny side, three on the shaded side of the house. Four of the six rooms are double bedded, all equal in size with an ensuite toilet and shower. Two rooms are furnished with two single beds. We do have the ability to provide a cot (for children up two years) or an additional single bed for older children, if you wish. 

All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans and kettles for making coffee or tea. Portable air coolers is available at an extra charge.

The fare includes, cleaning, towels and sheets. We clean before arrival and 2 times per week thereafter. Towels and sheets we change every week and you will be supplied with seperate towels for use at the pool. We also have beach towels for use on beach excursions which you may borrow for free.

There are the facilities available to wash and dry personal laundry.
