Our Mission 

Mission Statement:

The Coalition of Anglophone Student Associations of Quebec, hereafter referred to as CASAQ, believes that all students should have the right to learn in environments that are conducive to their learning.  Students should not be restricted from studying in the language that they are most comfortable with and CASAQ is dedicated to ensuring fair treatment of all students within educational institutions.

  Our mission is to ensure access to bilingual education, services, and resources, as well as supporting initiatives that foster inclusivity.

By working together, CASAQ invites students from across its member institutions to collaborate in events that help foster creativity in safe environments that respect everyone’s background.

The Coalition highlights the need for representation of students from various backgrounds, and the celebration of differences which fosters an academic environment that is progressive and accepting. The Coalition believes in the need for a joint movement, ensuring that cegeps of Montreal are able to be presented in a united light. It aims to achieve proper representation and protection of the anglophone students within the Quebec education system.
