I am a Research Assistant at the Zoological Institute and Museum, University of Greifswald, Germany. I earned my PhD from the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, where I specialised in systematics, taxonomy, and evolutionary biology. My current research combines micro-CT scanning with advanced 3D processing to investigate functional morphology and phenotypic evolution. By integrating anatomy and biomechanics, I explore how functional and environmental demands shape morphology and how organisms respond to ecological challenges. Ultimately, my work aims to understand how the interplay between form and function has shaped the evolution of biodiversity.
