Updating Operating System

Updating the ClassPad will have your handheld unit running efficiently without any bugs.

1. To check your Operating system: 

MENU > SYSTEM > System > About > Version

The latest OS is Ver.2.01.7002

2. You can find the update here.

Click on the Windows Version and download to your desktop.

Please download the software via the above link and attempt to update your handheld. 

3. When you are about to update;

Commence with the ClassPad off.

Only connect the ClassPad calculator to the computer when asked.

• Ensure if using a laptop, it is connected to power.

• Ensure cables are secure.

• Batteries in the handheld should not be almost flat to update.

(You will need a mini-USB cord)

Have your ClassPad turned off & connect with cable to computer:

4 . Exit out of the connectivity screen - Tap 5. Cancel

5 . Select the MENU option and scroll across to the Communication folder.

6 . Click LINK and OS UPDATE and OK

7. Head back to your computer and click OK.

8. OS Update DO NOT UNPLUG CLASSPAD FOR ANY REASON. 

If you are on a laptop, make sure it is charged. If connection is interrupted during the update, your ClassPad may crash and be irreparable.

Refer back to your ClassPad.

9. Update will begin to load – a green progress bar will appear on your computer screen.

10. ClassPad will restart itself

11. Align ClassPad screen (if you wear glasses/corrective lenses, please have them on at this stage)

12. Set ClassPad settings to your preference (We suggest setting Power Save Mode to 1 hour, in order to preserve battery life).

Your Classpad should now be updated
