Your privacy comes first

No account. No sign-in. No personal information is collected by Crave from you as an app user.
Favorites, watchlist, theme preferences, and browsing choices you make are handled on your device. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.
1. Our Commitment to Privacy
Crave is built to help you discover and enjoy entertainment content — including featured titles, trending movies, categories, search, favorites, and watchlists — with confidence. We designed this app so you can browse without creating an account, without signing in, and without sharing your personal contact details with us. Protecting your privacy is a core principle of this product.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following from you as an app user:
Your name
Your phone number
Your email address
Your home or mailing address
Your date of birth
Government identifiers (SSN, ID numbers, etc.)
Photos, contacts, or camera data
Precise GPS location
No sign-up, login, OTP verification, email verification, social login, or registration is ever required to use the app.
3. Information Stored On Your Device
To power your entertainment experience, Crave keeps the following on your device during app use:
Favorites and saved titles
Watchlist items
App settings (such as dark/light theme preference)
Search and category filter choices while the app is running
This information is not uploaded to our servers and is not linked to your identity as an app user. Data you manage in the app stays on your device — we do not receive it as personal user profile data.
4. Local, On-Device Processing
Crave is designed for local processing. Core features — including the home screen, discover browse, popular and new releases sections, favorites, watchlist, and content details — run on your device using in-app state and sample content bundled with the app.
Your favorites, watchlist, and preferences are not sent to our servers for storage or processing. You can browse most app content without an internet connection.
An internet connection is needed for loading movie poster images, displaying advertisements, and if you choose to open external links such as support email or help resources.
5. Data Display and Sharing
All entertainment titles, descriptions, ratings, and categories displayed in the app come from the app's built-in content library and poster image sources. If you share screenshots or information through your device's standard share options, that sharing is handled by your device and the app you choose — we do not receive copies of shared content unless you explicitly send it to us (for example, by email).
You are responsible for keeping any exported or shared information secure.
6. Advertising
Crave displays advertisements through Google AdMob to help keep the app free to use. Ad formats may include banner ads and full-screen interstitial ads shown when you navigate between sections or return from content details.
Google and its advertising partners may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, approximate location (derived from IP address), app interactions with ads, and technical device data to deliver, measure, and improve ads. This data is handled according to Google's policies, not stored by us as a personal user profile.
You can limit ad personalization on your device through:

7. Third-Party Services
Core app features run on your device. The app does not send your favorites, watchlist, or preferences to external cloud services.
Google AdMob is used to serve advertisements. Movie poster images may be loaded from third-party image hosting services when you are connected to the internet. When you use optional actions such as sending email to support, rating the app on the Play Store, or opening a web link, those actions are handled by the respective platform or app you choose — not by Crave collecting additional data from you.
8. Cookies and Tracking
The app itself does not use browser cookies. We do not operate our own analytics or cross-app tracking services within Crave.
Advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may use identifiers permitted by your device and Android settings to measure ad performance. We do not build personal profiles about you based on your in-app activity beyond what is required for ad delivery through AdMob.
9. Network and Permissions
The app requests only the permissions it needs to function:
Internet access — required for loading movie poster images and displaying advertisements through Google AdMob
Network state — helps optimize ad and image loading
We do not request access to contacts, camera, calendar, SMS, microphone, biometric authentication, or precise location. There is no sign-in or account permission prompt when you open the app.
Your locally managed favorites, watchlist, and preferences remain on your device during normal app use.
10. Data Security
Because we do not collect personal information or account credentials from you as an app user, there is no personal login profile that can be compromised on our servers. Your favorites, watchlist, and theme preferences remain on your device unless you explicitly share content outside the app.
You can clear all locally stored app data at any time through your device settings.
11. Children's Privacy
This app is intended for general audiences who want to browse and discover entertainment content. It is designed as an entertainment utility and does not require personal information from children or adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
12. Your Choices and Rights
Because we do not collect identifying information about you as an app user, there is no personal account or profile to delete on our side. You can fully reset your app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage:
Settings → Apps → Crave → Storage → Clear storage
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored favorites, watchlist items, and app preferences from the app's private storage area.
13. Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be available within the app on this screen. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
