AI and Face-Related Image Processing
Cartoon Roy uses third-party AI only when the user starts a generation. The user's prompt, selected main photo, and up to two optional reference photos are sent through our server to Google Gemini to create a stylized image. The original selected photos are not sent to fal.ai. Only the resulting stylized image, motion prompt, selected style, aspect ratio, and duration are sent to fal.ai's hosted LTX 2.3 model to create the requested video and native audio.
The selected photos may contain a person's face or likeness. The app processes only their visible image pixels. It does not perform face recognition, identity matching, authentication, liveness detection, tracking, or biometric profiling, and it does not create or store faceprints, facial geometry, landmark records, embeddings, templates, or biometric identifiers.
Purpose and Sharing
Content is shared only to provide the generation requested by the user. Our app does not use face-related image content for identification, advertising, profiling, sale, or tracking. AI requests do not include the user's name, email, contacts, precise location, advertising ID, or a persistent device ID.
Retention and Deletion
Our server-side image proxy does not create a persistent database or user-content copy of photos or prompts. Google states that prompts, context, and outputs may be retained for up to 55 days for Gemini API abuse monitoring. For all new fal.ai requests, JSON input/output storage is disabled. Newly generated media on the fal.ai CDN expires and is permanently deleted after 24 hours. These fal.ai controls cover its request history and CDN media; hosted model processing remains subject to the provider's applicable terms.
Generated media is delivered to temporary storage in the app and is saved to Photos only when the user chooses. Copies saved in the app or Photos remain until deleted by the user.
User Choice
Users choose what to submit. A user who does not want their content sent to Google Gemini and fal.ai should not start a generation.
