From the airport to Universitat Autònoma

Although there are a number of ways of reaching the university from Barcelona airport, we strongly recommend the following:

By the airport train –RENFE– to Barcelona-Sants station.
Once in Barcelona Sants, change train to any train going to Plaça Catalunya (trains are very frequent and the two stations are a single stop apart)
Once in Plaça Catalunya station, follow the signs to the trains operated by the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya-FGC.
Take an FGC train in the direction of Sabadell (Line S2 to Sabadell or Line S6 to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and get off at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona station. The journey takes about 35 minutes.

Alternatively, travel from Barcelona airport by Bus (Aerobús) or taxi to Barcelona-Plaça Catalunya. Buses leave the airport approximately every 15 minutes. Once in Plaça Catalunya, go to the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya-FGC station and follow the indications in point 3, above.

From the airport to Hotel Urpí Sabadell

Follow the indications above but, in point 4, use only the line S2 Sabadell, and get off at La Creu Alta Station. The hotel address is C/ Sant Maties, 5.

UAB - Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres

In order to get to the building of Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres from the railway station, you have to take the main exit in the middle of the FGC station, go downstairs, then go straight until you arrive at the square called Plaça Cívica. On your left there will be a candy shop; turn left, cross the square diagonally and continue along the path that goes up the hill past the optician's. Halfway up, to your right you will see a building called «Facultat de Psicologia»: this is the entrance you are looking for. You can enter by the lateral door, cross the hall, turn left and take the stairs up to get to the Facultat de Lletres. You will see the hall and the Information Desk of the Facultat de Lletres on the left. On your right there will be a small vestibule with the staircases, also to your right. Take the narrow(er) stairs to the 1st floor, turn right, then at the end of the corridor turn right again, and at the end of the corridor on your right there will be the room you are looking for. We know it sounds complicated (and to be honest, it is), but there will be signs at the faculty to help you find your way.

This is the hall of the Facultat de Psicologia that you have to cross and turn left at the end to go up to the Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres.
