As the Director and Editor of the A/V Club's short film "The Box," I was responsible for leading a team of six other students through the filming process. I helped to lead the discussion for the script, organized times to film, shot all of the videos, and directed the actors. After all filming was completed, I edited the film. The final process I lead was the discussion for final edits between district and state. We earned all 1s at the Iowa High School State Group Speech Contest.
As Co-Editor of our Media Productions class, I help to lead the decisions around our theme and content for both our web presence and magazine, "The Wire." I work to teach students how to design and edit our pages and create content.

I am a member of our school's pep squad and student section leaders that we call the El Si Locos. It has been a tradition at our school for over 20 years. 10 seniors get selected every year. We regularly show up to sporting events and school activities to promote school spirit.
