I. WHO CAN USE THE LIBRARY
The following are allowed to use/borrow library materials from the library:
a. All bona fide students of CSU system.
b. CSU faculty and administrative staff.
c. CSU alumni, visiting scholars and researchers from private and government agencies.
II. LIBRARY HOUR OF SERVICES
Monday to Friday 7:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. (No Noon Break)
Saturday 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. (No Noon Break)

III. GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT
· All library users are expected to respect the right of others to study in quiet atmosphere.
· Silence must be observed.
· Smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted in the library.
· Student who engage in disruptive and inappropriate behaviours are asked to leave the library.
IV. CIRCULATION POLICIES FOR USERS
· Undergraduate and Graduate Students
o Students are required to leave their ID and filled-up book card whenever they are using resources inside the library
o All undergraduate students are entitled to borrow two (2) books for two (2) days, renewable for one (1) time only.
o For fiction novels, it can be borrowed up to one (1) week, renewable for one (1) time.
o The borrowing of books starts at every 3:00 P.M. every day and must be returned not later than 10:00 A.M., the following day, for in-demand and reserve books. It is in first reserve, first to borrow rule.
o A fine of Php 10.00/day will be imposed to those who failed to return the book within the specified time.
· Faculty
§ Faculty members are allowed to borrow 5 books per semester.
§ A clearance is required to faculty members regardless of their status. Failure to submit clearance cannot borrow next year.
· Administrative Staff
§ Administrative staff are entitled to borrow 2 books for 2 days.
· Students from Satellite Campus
§ Students coming from CSU Satellite Campus are entitled to utilize library resources provided they present their university ID. They are not entitled to borrow books for outside use.
· Outside Visitors and Researchers
§ Outside visitors and visiting researchers are authorized to use library resources given that they present an ALINET form or referral letter from their instructor/teacher/adviser. They are charged Php 20.00 per visit.
V. GUIDELINES FOR LIBRARY RESOURCES
· Books
o Books from the Reserve, Circulation, and Filipiniana are the only resources that can be borrowed for outside use.
o General Reference Books can be used for inside reading only.
o Books not frequently used or does have multiple copies can be borrowed up to seven (7) days subject to evaluation by the librarian in-charge.
o Lost books must be reported immediately. It must be replaced with the same title, author and date or recent edition. In case of no available copy, the book must be paid exactly of its purchased amount plus processing fee of Php 50.00 and an addition of 50% of its amount for printing and handling fee.
· Thesis and Dissertations
o Thesis and Dissertations are only limited to inside use.
· Special Collections
o Special Collections includes resources from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas – Knowledge Resource Network (BSP-KRN), Butuanon and Caraga Collections, Multimedia Materials i.e. CDs, DVDs. These are also for inside use only.
· Serials and Periodicals
o Serials and Periodicals includes newspapers, journals, magazines, government publications, etc. that are published in intervals. These are also limited for inside use only.
