I am a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at The University of Western Ontario and a member of the Rotman Institute of Philosophy. My doctoral research is supported in part by funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (Canadian Graduate Scholarship Doctoral). My research sits at the intersection of philosophy of mind, epistemology, and artificial intelligence. My public facing scholarship explores the consequences of anthropomorphism in AI design and develop conceptual strategies for using artificial intelligence to advance social and scientific progress. Through my work, I aim to inform responsible AI design, policy, and interdisciplinary approaches to shaping emerging technologies.
