Micah & Joy – Salado, TX

Micah and Joy’s engagement session took place in a quiet clearing beside a secluded creek in Salado, Texas. With the sun hanging low in the sky, soft backlight filtered through the trees and gave everything a warm glow. The two of them brought an easy and playful energy to the shoot that made every moment feel natural. It was clear how much they enjoyed the experience—and even more so when they saw the final images.

Back in February, I joined Alex and Maddie to celebrate a special milestone: their son Silas turning six months old! The overcast skies gave the afternoon a soft, even light, and Silas—full of smiles and curiosity—clearly loved being the center of attention. It was easy to see just how much joy and love his parents have for him, and that connection came through beautifully in every frame.
