About  Us

The BLaB Lab is located at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the Department of Educational Psychology, which is in Teacher's College Hall on UNL's city campus. 

We study the mental processes that allow people to self-manage their learning, emotions and behavior. We are especially interested in how children's experiences shape their brains to become more efficient at self-regulation over time and in how self-regulation supports student performance in the classroom. We use behavioral, neuroimaging and physiological methods in our research.
