Re-elect Carrie4Coroner
Carrie has been with the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office since January 2000. She held the title of Chief Deputy Coroner of Tippecanoe County until she was elected to Coroner in 2021. She is a Fellow with the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) and has been a member of the AAFS since 2002. She is also an affiliate investigator with the National Association of Medical Examiners and Coroners (N.A.M.E.), a member of the International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners. and a member of the Indiana Coroners Association. She is certified by the State of Indiana as a Medicolegal Death Investigator for over 20 years.
Carrie's service to Tippecanoe County includes participating in the Opioid Overdose Fatality Review Team Pilot program in 2018, the Child Fatality Review Team, and chairing the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team in Tippecanoe in 2009. She has appeared on National Geographic/Canada and Discovery Channel/Canada for a case study in bloodspatter and "What's that about?".

Carrie has over 22 years of law enforcement experience at the Purdue University Police Department and retired as a Lieutenant. Her law enforcement experience includes investigations, threat assessment, court testimony, dignitary protection detail, case management, and training.
