Our group decided to create a video of a day in a teachers life. We found GoPro to be a good tool for capturing the video, and with the use of a head-strap, we could film from a teacher perspective. We divided responsibility for filming one section of preparation, instruction, professional development, and grading.
I filmed the grading section, and spent two days filming different location in the Los Angeles area. I used I-movie to edit my footage down to a a couple of minutes, which took about two hours. The techniques I used here, was mostly cut, speed editor and transitions.
Our group met in the last class period that was assigned to this project. We had all edited the videos of our own captures before class. We used I-movie on a personal computer to edit the four videos into one. Finally, we inserted transitions, titles and music. Using Google Drive, we could easily share the final video with each other.
