Hi! This is my first year teaching at Cedartown Middle School! I graduated with my bachelor's degree in middle school science education from Western Governors University, and I am currently working towards my master's degree. I was given the opportunity to be a substitute teacher in Polk County this past school year, and I enjoyed every moment. I am so excited to share my love of learning and science with the wonderful students at Cedartown Middle. I am lucky to have a wonderful husband, two dogs, and a handful of chickens.My goal as a teacher is to create lifelong learners and prepare students for their next stage in life. I want to equip students with the necessary skills to succeed in both middle school and beyond, and to help students find true enjoyment in learning about the world around us.
