COLLABORATORS IN ARGENTINA

During my stay in Argentina, three excellent early career researchers from different disciplines (urban planning, sociology and anthropology) collaborated in the project. They did part of the literature review and carried out preliminary analyses with Argentinean migration data. They are Dr. Francesca Ferlicca, Melina Ibarra, and Bianca Converso.

Francesca Ferlicca holds a PhD in Territorial Planning and Public Policy (IUAV University, Venice, Italy). She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Latin American and Caribbean Studies of the University - IEALC (University of Buenos Aires). She specialises in socio-urban integration policies in popular neighbourhoods in Argentina. In Argentina, she has eight years of experience as an urban consultant for the national, provincial and local public sector and for think tanks relevant to formulating urban public policy.

Melina Ibarra is a sociology student at the Interdisciplinary School for Advanced Studies in Social Sciences - Universidad Nacional de San Martín (IDAES-UNSAM). Her research interests include migration, social inequalities, and class stratification. She is trained in quantitative research methods and in the application of machine learning techniques in the field of social research.

Bianca Converso is an advanced anthropology student with a specialization on sociocultural orientation at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Her research interests include the production of anthropological knowledge based on the links between digital technologies, new forms of social interaction and changes in subjectivities. Bianca is also interested in both quantitative and qualitative methods, which she uses in her own research.
