Adoption is an area of law that is close to my heart. Members of my family are adopted and I can see the positive impact of adoption on their lives; and in some cases, the lives of their biological family members as well. I previously served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children where I advocated for the best interest of specific children in foster care through the legal system. Furthermore, I have been a licensed foster parent since 2023.
