Carolina Behavioral Therapy is an outpatient teletherapy, mental health clinic specializing in evidence-based treatments for individuals struggling with PTSD, OCD, depression, anxiety, suicide, and self-harm behaviors. Our offerings include Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) for PTSD, Exposure & Response Prevention (EX/RP) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Linehan-style Dialectical Behavior Therapy Programs (DBT). Our therapists are located in Columbia, SC, to serve clients in Richland, Lexington, Calhoun, Sumter & surrounding counties, including the cities of West Columbia, Lexington, Blythewood, and Irmo, but our services are offered to all SC and NC residents. Adam Englert, MSW
Employed as a Behavioral Health Research Associate and Clinical Instructor with the College of Social Work at the University of South Carolina, Adam works as part of a design team creating simulated research labs to foster clinical judgment in social work students. He completed his 2nd year MSW internship at Carolina Behavioral Therapy and in 2019 attended intensive training in DBT.
Bryce Kananowitz, MSW
A Research Associate and Clinical Interventionist with the College of Social Work at the University of South Carolina, Bryce provides skills interventions to families of 3-4-year-old children with behavioral difficulties and developmental delays. He completed his 2nd year MSW internship at Carolina Behavioral Therapy and in 2019 attended intensive training in DBT.
