I was trying to make something with shapes that all symbolized something. They symbolism isn't supposed to be obvious, just a personal inspirational element for me.
Another pandemic weekend. Went for a walk in the morning and sat to draw at Lake Merritt.
My first grade teacher used to put the smiley face on the right on our graded papers. A couple decades later I still remember it and could draw it no problem.
Drew these in the park one Saturday during quarantine.
Sometimes I make really bad color choices and it ruins a drawing. This one actually wasn't bad but I didn't have a plan when it came to the colors.
