If you are an adult who met the clinical criteria for prediabetes or type 2 diabetes before starting a Carnivore Diet, you may be eligible to participate in a study investigating the effect of the carnivore diet on blood glucose management.
Research Study
The carnivore diet is a dietary pattern characterized by exclusive consumption of animal-sourced foods. This study aims to explore the impact of the carnivore diet on HbA1c levels among people with clinical prediabetes or type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), recognized as an HbA1c of 5.7% or higher, before adopting a carnivore diet.
By participating, you'll contribute valuable data to help researchers understand the impact of the carnivore diet on glycemic management as a nutritional intervention for Type 2 Diabetes.
WHAT WILL I NEED TO DO AS A PARTICIPANT?
Before accessing the survey, you will be informed of the risks and benefits of this study
Answer survey questions on food frequency, health status, and medication use
Report your HbA1c values from labs taken before and after adopting a carnivore diet
If you are interested in participating in this study, click the Participant Eligibility Screening form and answer the questions. We will use your response to determine if you are eligible to enroll as a participant in this study. If you are eligible, you will recieve an email with instructions for accessing study materials.
