Sailesh Singhal is a global youth activist, community mobilizer & strategist advocating for accountability, transparency and youth engagement in the development discourse. In an effort to endorse inter- governmental, bi-partisan co-operation for egalitarian sustainability, he has been promoting a cohesive framework for sustainable development.
Sailesh Singhal is the Founder of Youth of India Foundation, which is one of the 174 organizations from across the world to be granted special accreditation by 2020 United Nations conference - a movement initiated to localize Sustainable Development Goals through innovative campaigns and discussions. Youth of India is spread across 13 states and 12 countries, completing over more than 100 projects. He has served as the Youngest District Officer in Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India.
Suman Nalwa is a 1996 batch DANIPS officer having served in Delhi and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Presently she is posted as Dy. Commissioner of Police in Special Police Unit for Woman and Children, a nodal unit of Delhi Police on women and children issues. Earlier, she has been posted in the districts as Sub-Divisional Officer, in the Crime against Women and in Anti-Corruption Units.
An electronics engineer by profession, Ms. Nalwa after joining the police service did her M.A. (Police Administration) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab. Subsequently, she did her LL.B from Delhi University. She was awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship pursuant to which she did her LL.M. degree in International Human Rights Law from University of Essex, UK.
