DSA needs a program and a plan of action. 

The Carnation Revolution was a bloodless coup that led to the end of Portuguese imperialism, an end to authoritarian rule in Portugal, and the successful liberation of Portuguese colonies around the world. 

We're inspired by the Carnation Revolution because we know that political revolution of this scale is necessary to stop the endless imperialist wars in Gaza and elsewhere and fight climate change globally. To achieve this, we need a mass socialist party cohered around a program and a short, medium, and long term plan of action.
