200 Year Anniversary

Sunday 5th November 2023 - The 200th Anniversary of Carlton Baptist Church

The church held a very inspiring service on the 5th November to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the founding of the church.

The service was well attended with former members of the church, Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Brigade companies. The reunion of friends was quite moving as people who had not seen each other for several years recalled old times. The congregation included several local dignitaries who all said how much they had enjoyed being involved with the church on this special occasion. After the service, a buffet meal was enjoyed and included a slice of the Anniversary cake.

This was a day everyone who attended will always remember.

Monday's - 11.00 am - Kitchen Project - Hot Meal and Warm Space

The Kitchen Project has been running for several months now.  The project began with the support of Gedling Borough Council and with donations of food from several local supporting supermarkets and stores.  These voluntary donations of food are the life-line of the project.  Financial support is also vital, and we would welcome any financial donations to help out.  A donation of £5 would buy a 2-course meal for two people.  Jeanette will be pleased to receive any donations, no matter how small.  Our sincere thanks are expressed to the team, who prepare and serve the meals each week.    

INFANT DEDICATION

Here is a photo of an infant dedication that was held in the Church on Sunday 20th April.  It was a lovely opportunity for the church to come together and celebrate.
