2010

wood, paint, glass, lights, enclosing 3 drawings and 3 digital prints

The classical Spanish “Arcada” housed 3 drawings titled the “Arcada Triptych.”  Thematically, this triptych compared strife between the Moorish Moslems and the Catholics during the early centuries of Spain’s Inquisition era to conflicts between the United States and Middle East today.  Three Moorish designs were digitally printed and enclosed inside circular frames on the back of this structure.  This installation was originally exhibited at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and Library in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Further information is provided if you click on the link below.
