Carlos Brito

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Davis, and an affiliate of the Global Migration Center.

Currently, my research examines the Venezuelan migration flow into Northern Brazil, specifically investigating the influence of refugees on locals' political preferences and educational outcomes. 

My research interests include development, political economy, migration, and education.
