Carlos Brito

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Davis, and an affiliate of the Global Migration Center.

I study how reception, integration, and regulatory policies affect migrants and host communities. I focus on low and middle-income countries where migration challenges intersect with limited state capacity and institutional fragility.
