Carlos Suárez

Welcome to my homepage.

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Economics and Business at the Pompeu Fabra University and the Barcelona School of Economics. 

I have a solid background in theoretical concepts and empirical methods in Regulation and Industrial Economics. 

I have work experience as analyst in energy economics issues in several public sector entities in Colombia. I am Interested in research and consulting in areas of industrial organization, regulation economics, competition policy and energy economics. 

Currently, I am working on research projects that try to shed light on the role of public companies in market competition in developing countries.
