Conclusion

NYC subway acts as the backbone of New York City’s economy. However, the expansion of the population in the city has made modernization of the subway system inevitable. Although the modernization of the NYC subway system has been criticized because of the high cost involved, the cost-benefit analysis procedure has evidenced its long-term benefits.
