Recent projects

  1. I completed my undergraduate thesis (tesis de licenciatura) under the supervision of Manuela Busaniche and Miguel Marcos. The thesis is mainly concerned with the representation of Stonean residuated lattices by triples formed by the boolean skeleton of the lattice, subalgebras of dense elements and a suitable homomorphism that relates this structures. This representation is the categorical equivalence developed by Cignoli, Busaniche and Marcos in [Cignoli,Busaniche & Marcos, 2018]. In my thesis I give an alternative proof of the faithfullnes of the functor that stablishes the equivalence by presenting a more explicit construction of the Stonean lattice that corresponds to every arbitrary triple. This work was done as part of an undergraduate research scholarship, namely the EVC-CIN scholarship.

  2. I worked with Liliana Forzani and Ricardo Toledano in the development of software to compute some special moments of a Wishart distributed random variable, where the matrix variable can be symbolic or concrete. You can access the web interface for this software here. This work is was submitted to the Journal of Statistic Software.
