Carlo Collari
I am ...
... a post-doc at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Pisa, mentored by Prof. Paolo Lisca.
From May 2019 to December 2021 I was a post-doctoral associate at the New York University in Abu Dhabi, and I was mentored by Prof. Qingtao Chen.
I was a visiting assistant professor in Budpest at the Alfréd Rényi Institute under Prof. András Stipsicz.
From July to November 2018, I was a visiting post-doctoral researcher at the Durham University, supervised by Prof. Andrew J. Lobb, and supported by a Royal Society scholarship awarded by the Accademia dei Lincei.
From October to December 2017, I was a visiting post-doc at the IMT in Toulouse, under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Costantino. I was supported by an INDAM scholarship.
I was awarded my Ph.D. in 2017 from the University of Florence, my supervisor was Prof. Paolo Lisca.
My research interests include: knot theory, low dimensional topology, and contact topology. I am broadly interested in link and 3-manifold invariants arising from representations of quantum groups, and their relationship with Floer-theoretic invariants. Moreover, I am also interested in concordance and symmetries of links.
You can find me also on GecoGedi or you can take a look at my old website.
