I'm an applied microeconomist, primarily involved in analyzing collective behavior patterns in response to extreme events, such as episodes of violence or severe weather phenomena. 

I am currently involved in the SpaceItUp project, led by the Italian Space Agency, where I contribute to the development and application of low-latency Earth-observation data for applied economic analysis in the context of European security. 

I hold a PhD in Urban Studies and Regional Science from the GSSI. 

My academic background includes visiting positions at the School of Earth, Environment and Society at McMaster University, the Centre for Economics, Policy and History at Queen’s University Belfast, and an invitation to the Violence Research Center at the University of Cambridge. 

I'm an affiliated researcher at the NOVA - School of Business and Economics, and a Fellow of the GLO - Global Labor Organization.
