Olá bom dia alegria! I'm Carl Munson — Portugal-loving broadcaster, columnist, real estate & relocation guide, and proud resident on Portugal's beautiful Silver Coast.

Originally from the UK, I moved to Portugal in 2017 and quickly fell in love with the way of life, people and culture here, having first visited in 2007.

Today, I host Good Morning Portugal! — a daily breakfast show, podcast and community dedicated to sharing a daily culture quiz, real life, practical advice and the everyday joys of living in this wonderful country (as well as managing the challenges).

Through the show, our Portugal Club community, and my work with Expats Portugal, I have helped thousands of people explore, understand and successfully relocate to Portugal.

Alongside my media work, I assist and guide international clients — particularly retirees & families — in finding their perfect home in portugal and on the Silver Coast. 

Whether you're buying, renting, or simply scouting the area, I am happy to assist through local connections and a personal touch every step of the way.

I also write as a columnist for the Portugal Resident newspaper, host the Resident twice-weekly podcast, present a weekly Portuguese culture quiz at a local bar, and stay actively involved in the expat community through initiatives that support and connect people.

When I'm not on air or helping clients, you'll likely find me enjoying time with family, discovering new corners of Portugal or simply soaking up the good life on the coast or in a local café.
