Currently Associate Professor of Economics and Director of the Master's Program in Economic Analysis at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Since June 2025, I also serve as President of the Catalan Association of Regional Science (ACCR).
I am an economic geographer specializing in the spatial dynamics of high-tech, creative, and knowledge-intensive service (KIS) industries. My research focuses on understanding the factors that drive the location and agglomeration of these industries within urban areas, as well as the role of coworking spaces in fostering innovation and economic growth. Utilizing applied microeconomics, GIS, and econometric techniques, my work provides insights into the evolving geography of these sectors and their impact on regional development.
