👋  WHO IS CARLA? 

An avid and devoted Sports fan, Carla enjoys attending and producing content on various sports such as Motorsport, Football and Rugby League. 

Now graduated with a First Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Sport Marketing at Leeds Beckett University. Carla has moved on to further study a Masters in Public Relations and Strategic Communication with a passion for developing a career in Sports PR and Communications and also Sports Marketing. 

Experience includes Social Media and Marketing for insideF2 Online, Road To F1, PorscheSport, and the Athletic Union at the Carnegie School of Sport. Whilst Carla also has experience of creating her own social media content for her blog (Just A Sports Fans Blog along with the creation of a website which tackles areas that concern Sport with a specific focus on Formula 1, Formula 2 and Football.

Carla believes that Women's sport and Women in Sport should be communicated even further than what it the sport is now as should Academy Sport and Esports, which is why Carla endeavours to explore a career in this niche yet inspiring part of the Sports industry. 

Participating in Kick It Out's Aspire/Game Changers board has further ignited this belief and as a result is why, Carla focused her Dissertation on “An Investigation Into The Lack Of Female Representation In Motorsport.” Which Carla achieved a First in.
