Our focus issue is that Mental Health needs improving in schools.
Our main root cause is that people aren't getting the therapy & counseling that they need.
Why should we focus on Mental Health in our schools? Problems with mental health can effect people's energy, emotions, and concentration. In America, 50 million people struggle with Mental Health problems every year and 90% of children commit suicide because of a mental illness.
Many children do not have access to the counseling or therapy that they need. A reason for this is that therapy is up to $80 to $300 an hour. Another reason why we should focus on this Mental Health in schools is because mental health problems have caused over 1-5 years of a disability.
