WHAT IS FREE AND WHAT IS PAID
Naming the car is free, and always will be. That covers the make, model, year and how confident the app is. The free tier allows 5 scans a day.
The detailed report is the paid part. It covers the full specification, what the car is worth new and used, the known weak points to check before buying, and what gave the identification away.
Every new install includes 3 free detailed reports, so you can see exactly what you would be paying for before you pay for anything.
WHAT DO THE PLANS COST
Pro is 2.99 a month and includes 40 detailed reports each month.
Pro Plus is 4.99 a month and includes 80 detailed reports each month.
There is no daily limit on either plan. You can use the whole month's allowance in one afternoon if you want to.
If you run out before the month resets, subscribers can buy a one-off top-up: 20 extra scans for 2.99, or 40 for 4.99. Top-ups never expire.
Monthly allowance is always used first, so top-ups are only spent once the included reports are gone.
HOW DO I CANCEL
In your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep what is left of the month you have paid for.
I PAID BUT THE REPORT DIDN'T ARRIVE
Nothing is charged twice and nothing is lost. Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings, then try the report again. If it still will not come through, email me and I will sort it out.
IT GOT THE CAR WRONG
It happens, especially on facelifts, rare trims and cars photographed from behind. Getting closer, filling more of the frame, or shooting the front or side three-quarter view usually helps a lot.
HOW ACCURATE ARE THE PRICES
Treat them as a well-informed opinion, not a valuation. They are typical figures for the model and generation, not an appraisal of the specific car in front of you. Do not buy or insure anything on the strength of them.
THE CAMERA IS BLACK OR WON'T START
Check that camera access is enabled for the app in iOS Settings, under Privacy and Security, then Camera. If it is on and still black, force-quit the app and reopen it. You can always identify a car from your photo library instead.
WHERE ARE MY SAVED SCANS
On your iPhone only, inside the app. There is no account. Deleting the app deletes them, so export anything you want to keep first.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY PHOTOS
They are sent to be identified and are not stored on our side. The privacy policy explains exactly what happens to them.
